dude, u do know that a computer is more than just harddisk space, ram, processor and graffik card, right?? but Diana i dont think he means 550, that would be insanely cheap, unless the rest of the parts are pure shit, but i also gotta say that 5500 sounds waaay to overpriced no matter how good the rest is

The closest i could find was less than 2000 eu. It had 1.5TB (150gb is SSD) (7200rmp), 16GB ram (4x4gb DDR3, 1333MHz), i7 3.2GHz 2nd gen, 3GB video ram, a good Nvidia graphics card. Thats basically the same except for the hard drive. You can get 2Tb external for less than 100 eu.

Yea thats a nice laptop. My PC got a higher GHz but thats only because its overclocked. Still 2000€ is reasonable, I think. Laptops are always more expensive than a PC with the same specs.

Mine was ~£800 (900 eu?) with 200 eu of that being insurance. It has 8gb ram (2x 4gb DDR3 1333Mhz), i5 3.2Ghz, 2gb video ram, good nvidia graphics, 500gb (7200rpm) i already have 3TB on external hard drives)

The closest of the 'gaming' brand laptops (such as alienware) that were about that quality were over twice the price.

Why pay over twice the price for a custom made one? They don't have as much technical support that you can find on your own and they are more likely to have compatibility problems with stuff.

Mine was semi-custom. I chose all the features but they used their standard layout for it. It was cheap and incredibly good.
